How I find $50K/month products to sell on Amazon

My top selling product did $46K last month,

And is on pace to do $51K this month,

That’s without any variations.

I’m working on launching a few different colors right now and that should get this product to $75-80K per month.

Here’s what I’ve learned from picking winning products and having some losing products.

Your product MUST HAVE these basic fundamentals:

Search Volume: Minimum 4,000

Average Income: Over $10,000

Sale Price: Above $25

The last thing is competition,

You want to find a product that has little competition.

Some people will look at the average amount of reviews to quantify this.

What most gurus will tell you, is to look for products with an average reviews below 300/500.

In my experience that’s not entirely good advice, all my winning products categories have had more than average of 500 reviews.

So if I listened to the gurus I wouldn’t have launched these products. 

What I look for is:

Popular products that make a lot of money,

But then I try to find a way to make a version of that product for a specific niche that isn’t as popular.

For example, let’s say you were looking at selling Bath Bombs.

Those were mainly popular for women.

But then you saw people were also searching for Bath Bombs for Men.

Or Bath Bombs for Kids.. Or bath bombs for dogs.

But no one was selling anything to service those customers,

That’s your OPPORTUNITY in the market.

Or another example is Creatine.

Creatine is a supplement that has been around for ages, it’s mainly been targeted towards men for building muscle and getting bigger.

But I recently saw a brand make their Creatine targeted towards girls who want to get bigger a bigger butt.

This brand blew up and is doing over $250,000/month.

So it’s the EXACT same product.. it’s the same old basic Creatine.

But they just changed who it was marketed towards and they made all the branding specifically for women instead of men.

It’s your job to find what people are looking for and make a product to serve them before somebody else does.

That’s how you’ll make life changing money.

Lesson of the day: Always try to Niche down and look for opportunities.
