Buy your competitors products
I was speaking with a student that I’m mentoring.
He was about to launch his first product to sell on Amazon.
Before he made his mass order with his supplier..
I asked him “how is your quality compared to your main competitors?”
And his answer was “I don’t know..”
He never bought his competitors product to compare the quality.
How can you be confident in your product if you don’t even know how it compares to the competition.
This is a MASSIVE MISTAKE a lot of people make.
They launch their products to sell on Amazon without doing proper market analysis.
Amazon has changed now.
You can’t just launch any random product and make shit loads of money.
You have to make sure there is demand for your product.
And you have to make sure your product is better or different than what’s currently available.
This is why you have to buy your top competitors products.
Once you see their product you can compare and make sure yours is better or equally as good.
You also have to ask yourself - “why would someone buy my product over all the others?”
And if you can’t answer that question.
Then you shouldn’t be launching that product.
Because you’ll most likely lose your money.
And this is what 99% of people are doing.
That’s why everyone says selling on Amazon is saturated.
But..
If you know what you’re doing, it’s actually pretty easy.
While everyone else is making the same mistakes.
You can do it properly and succeed.
